DISNEY ON ICE

Hey I thought I would share some fun we had today. We went to the Disney On Ice. It was a blast. The kids and grandkids enjoyed it so much. Not to mention us Adults. I hadn't been to
the ice show forever. I guess you are never to old to have fun.
We first started off by going to the Sizzler with Mandy and Jake and their family.
It was going quite well untill I mentioned to the waitress that my granddaughter got
rice instead of french fries. She was very nice and brought back some fries. As she was
handing them over to Grace, she was holding someones drink. She bent over me to give
Grace her fries when all of a sudden I seen her tilt that glass more and more and you guessed, it spilled all over the table and of course on my pants.
MiCayla said: That was cool, I always wanted to see that happen. FUNNY HER !!!
I have some pictures of the memories that we will hold on forever.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Take Good Care of Our Little Angel

My daughter is expecting her 4th child. Well, it has been exciting for us all, but there has been one problem. Beings it is going to be their last child, Mandy and her husband decided to have fun with this one. Well, they did by not letting anyone know what they were having.

We have been listening so close seeing if we could pick up on a clue or something, I even went to the extent to have my granddaughter MiCayla (their daughter) keep her eye peeled and her radars on LOL. Well after several ultra sounds and showing us pictures of this little it, which gave us no clue at all, we had a surprise of our life. Well, the reason I say that, is all along I knew it was going to be a little boy, just by the way Mandy would talk.

They came over today and said that they had a surprise for us. So as we all nestled in our chairs, they had their little family sit together, Ed and I sat together along with my two sons and daughter in law and my newest grandson Kyson. Mandy went out side and when she came to the door she told us all that we had to close our eyes. Wow the excitement was about to hit as I thought FINALLY it's time to get to know what we are having.

As we closed our eyes she had us hold our hands out and open our eyes. There to our surprise was a little teddy bear which was holding a bag of m&m's. Well you could definately see that the m&m's were blue so that was our clue, along with writing on the m&m's A boy. As we looked at each other, I happened to glance at my granddaughter and caught a look of oh boy another brother. This would be 3 brothers for her. Oh my was she wanting a little girl, not to mention that I the grandma would have loved one to. Well Jake my son in law said: you got to read the m&m's!!! As we poured them out in our hand there were a few m&m's that said It's Not a Boy. Oh my gosh It was so exciting to see that is was really going to be a little girl. I looked at MiCayla as tears started running down her face. Which of course made me start to tear. I would have really been happy either way but, for this point in my life just loosing my daughter I was kinda hoping for a little girl. Shell will always be a part of this little angel.

Her name will be Kesli Chrishell Crystal. I am sure that Shell is taking good care of this little spirit for us before it is time to hand her down from heaven. What a surprise! I am so thankful for having such a wonderful husband, loving children and sweet grandchildren. I just want them to know how much I love them.

New Years Eve

We had a pretty good New Years Eve this year. We had family come over and Mandy made the best artichoke dip and cheese dip along with my little smokies wrapped in bacon. "YUM". Tom, Shelbie, Ed and I usually pay my brother Alan and sister in law Diane and family a visit for New Years Eve. We would always have a great meal and wait around for the New Years Eve to crack at the break of dawn. Tom and Shelbie would beat on pans and run up and down the streets of Brigham yelling Happy New Year. I miss those days so much. I really miss my daughter Shelbie who's life was taken in an automobile accident when she was 16. She brought laughter to our home and those that were around her. It has left an emptiness in our lives. She would have so much fun being able to hang out with her cousins and aunt and uncle not only on New Years but whenever we had the chance to go visit. Her memories go on and are never forgotten as we experience the holidays with the rest of the family without her. Our night started off watching the Jazz, eating, playing pool and beating on the drums not to mention the grandkids playing and having a GREAT time. People around us were lighting off fire works as if it was the fourth of july. Not to mention a few Tom lit off. LOL Great times and memories that will last forever. I love my family so much.

Christmas Time

I would like to tell you how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family. This Christmas we went to Soldier Hollow for a party that my dad puts on for all his kids and grandchildren. They went tubing and then we had a yummy dutch oven dinner with roast, turkey, potatoes, beans, rolls and a variety of salad.

After the big dinner, it was topped off with the most wonderful peach cobler dessert.

Then out of nowhere came this jolly old santa dressed in red from his head to his toes. It was fun to see the look on the small children as he came running in with a bag of toys for ALL the kids. Most of the kids thought it was great and some SCREAMED as if the Grinch had taken away their candy cane.

After santa was through talking to the kids and giving them a stuffed animal or flying helicopter gun (for all that were good), He left with a Ho Ho Ho and as I turned to the windows there grew such a site as I seen miniture reindeers and santa flying out of site.

You could hear the whisper of the children and see the twinkles in their eyes knowing that it was time to go home and get in their new cozy jammies for SANTA was going to be coming back on Christmas EVE.
