Junior Prom

Chey was asked to the junior prom.
She is a sophmore and her date is a
junior. She is getting her hair done.
and is embarrased without make-up.
Here she is having her make-
up professionally done.

And here she is all dolled
up for the big night.
Chey had me take this picture of her.
I don't know why. LOL
Exchanging their flowers.
Her showing off hers.....
They went to dinner at
Ruby Tuesday's and swimming
after. She is growing up so
fast. Grandma loves you Chey!!!!!

Easter Day !!!!!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE !!!
Our Easter party started out
with YUMMY food.
"Tulson is enjoying his Sloppy
Joe and Pop"The weather
was holding nice.
We were going to have a barbeque but
the weather man said rain. So we had
sloppy joe's, yummy salad, chips,
carrots, pickles, and don't forget the
Deviled EGGS.......
Here are some cupcakes that I tried
to master. SORRY everyone, they
were suppose to be rabbits but ended
up looking like a bunch of mice.
Oh well, they tasted scrumtious..LOL
We had a Easter EGG hunt. There
were 11 grandkids and I had filled
88 eggs with candy. The only twist
here was they couldn't just grab the
eggs. Every egg had their initial on
it so they could only get the eggs
with their name.
Here is old Grandma explaining
the rules. HeHeHeHe

"I LOVE MY FAMILY"
Ahhh I see one hiding in the tree.
They all had 8 eggs each to find.
Once they had all their eggs they
had to hop around to the back yard
and when they got there they had
to yell, "Hippity Hop Hop I am
like a Bunny". LOL
"INTENSE"
And the winner was" Cason".
He got a gold medal hung
around his neck. Course I
couldn't let anyone go home
without not feeling like a winner.
So they all got chocolate bunnies...
We played another game kinda
like musical chairs but we had
numbers on the sidewalk,
whoever went without
a number after the loud
music stopped had to come
and get a balloon and sit on it
and make it pop. I called this
game LAYING EGGS because
they looked like chickens when
they had to pop their balloons.
I hope my family enjoyed Easter
as much as I enjoyed having them.
Love you ALL,,,,,,Love Mom

Russian Dolls

Kyson loves Dora and Diego.
One morning on TV he was
watching Dora and there were
some Russian dolls on it. I told Kyson
I had some Russian dolls I had bought
when we went to Hawaii. So I took
them out of my curio. What a mistake
that was lol. Every day he asked if
he could see and play with my Russian
dolls.
I found some in my art room
that had been sitting around
forever and thought I would
paint them for him. To tell
you the truth I forgot they
were even in there.
As you can tell we couldn't leave
out Mickey...That is another story.
He is in love with that show." Lucky
Grandma and Grandpa." We have
the whole series memorized. So
that is the reason for having Mickey
on his Russian Dolls. LOL
The smallest doll is smaller than a dime.
Kyson is so proud that
he owns his own Russian
Dolls. Silly him !!!!!
Grandma loves you Kyson :)

Happy Birthday Cheyenne

Cheyenne my grand daughter turned
16 today. I can't believe how fast she
is growing up. I decided to make her
a keepsake from one of the sites I
seen on the net. They used a glass
brick. Through the glass you can
see pictures that I knew would touch
Chey's heart.
They are pictures of her growing
up with Shelbie. I hope she likes it.
She is into Zebra's so I
thought I would use some
zebra ribbon to match her
room with bling bling's and
pearl's....On the top I made
a butterfly out of a piece
of shell's tutu she wore in
dance.I know that Shell will
be forever in her heart..
Love you Chey ! Hope you
have the BEST 16th ever.
Love, Grandma

Another Year Older or Way Over The Hill

I am believing that after you turn
50 it is all down hill.!.!.! Well, I am
a few years older than 50 and thats

the very nice lotions (my favorite smells),
the fire starter that will be handy
this summertime (what a BIG
surprise Alan and Diane:), money,
phone calls, and all the thoughtful cards.
What more could I ask for. Thanks
again.....You made my day.
I Love My Family.....:)
