Catching Up

I miss you Shell every day of my life. To place a flower for you Shell on memorial day is just the beginning of how I miss and love you every day. I just hang in there day by day knowing that some day I will be able to
hold and embrace you again. It is going on five years since you took your last breath and as you know that last breath also took part of my heart away. I know that mom is with you and keeping you safe. I miss you to mom every day.Not having you here is hard and I want you to know that what you had taught me in life I will always remember . You were the best mother ever. As to all my family members that have past on. I send my love.

We went fishing at Strawberry on memorial day and on my last post Kyson was the fishy catcher. Well, as you can see Cam and Parley look on hoping they will get a bite.

Ed was hoping he would catch one of the tagged fish they have planted in Strawberry. It is worth $25,000.00 and several more worth some good money.

Well, this is number three that I caught. They were biting as quick as I could roll them in, bait them and throw it out. It must had been the lucky fishing pole that Ed got me for Mother's Day. LOL

When we were pulling in town Mandy had called wondering if we wanted to come over and have a barbeque burger. She makes the best burgers. I want you to know Mandy that I don't know what I would do without you. You are always thinking or doing for others...Love You

Keslee is the sweetest little chicky....Wonder what she is up to. hehehehe
Cason and Emma graduated from kindergarten. I went to the graduation and I couldn't believe how smart these little ones really were. Their teacher had them sing several songs about different colors and they did the colors in sign language. I was so impressed with them.

Lucky Widdle Fisherman

Ed and I were planning on going fishing today. It was suppose to be cloudy but, it seemed like a nice day to get out. Sara had to work so Tom and Kyson came along. We went to Strawberry It was VERY cold and I had worn capris. Dummy me. The wind was blowing, my legs and toes were about froze off but it didn't keep anyone from throwing in a line. Kyson waited patiently.

And his patience paid off !!!! He caught the first fish, and that happened to be the FIRST fish he had ever caught. Wow was he one excited widdle boy !!!
I think he brought alot of luck with him because, he not only caught one, he caught another one. He kept saying to me that this was the biggest fish he had ever seen. Boy grandma this is a BIGGEST fish of all...He was so excited but not as excited as we were and look at his Daddy !!!!! So proud of his widdle boy !!!!
His FIRST BIG fishy weighed in at 2 pounds.

His second fishy weighed in at 1 pound.
Now all the fun cleaning out the fish as we all looked on.

Kyson is going to have his FIRST fish taxedermy. The closing of this story is. No matter how lucky you are, No matter if it is your FIRST fish you have caught. It is all in that bottle of bait which you use. LOL. Thanks for coming along with us. No matter how freezing cold it was, there was a VERY happy ending. Love my family....

Easter Fun !!!!

<

I am a little late on posting my easter post. We had a nice time this Easter with all the grandkiddies and family. We had a barbeque. Yummy polish sausage dogs, salads, chips, olives, deviled eggs and plenty of drinks. The day was just perfect. The sun was shining and no wind. Seemed like the first day of summer. The weather today is cold, rain, wind and is suppose to storm for a couple more days. I wished mother nature would make her mind up. LOL Anyways after we ate I gave the grandkids bubbles. They were scented. Some smelt like vanilla, chocolate, cherry, and mint. They had a blast blowing them and seeing how long they would stay in the air before popping. I laughed to myself as I watched them playing with them. Some would spill them as they went running to catch that bubble in the air, some would get them so close to their mouth it got on their lips, some would pop in their face, watching them laugh and pointing to the sky left some GREAT memories on this Easter day. Then I gave them each a pair of sunglasses. Some fit, some didn't, some broke and some were just way cool!!!! We had our annual easter egg hunt. I think that was the funnest time of the day. The kids were all excited as they ran and tried to find the eggs with their names on them and picked up the candy that was thrown among the grass. After the hunt I had made a treat for them along with the peeps cupcakes that Keslee loved. Their treat I put together was a graham cracker, a couple of peeps and a hersheys candy bar. I told them that when they got home they could stack them together and put them in the microwave and SHHUBAMM they had themselves a smores. I hope the family had as nice of a Easter as I did. Family is the most important part of your life and I want them to know how much I LOVE each and everyone of them. Hope you all had a HAPPY EASTER..
