Happy Easter

Easter was quite fun this year. The family got together and colored eggs.
This was very interesting to see what colors and designs the kids would
use with their imagination.
We started out by eating pizza and the fun began. As we put in the tablets
and watched them fizz then adding the vinegar it brought back memories
on how we used to make them. I think the coolest ones were when my
Grandparents would wrap them in material and boil them in some kind of
brew and they would come out looking so amazing.
DANG wished I knew how they did them for sure so maybe next year I
could teach my grandkids how to make them. Any ideas????
Well, 6 dozen eggs and two hours later we were finished not to mentioned
my grandson Kyson smelling like vineger. And Mandy trying to balance a
egg on her tummy, hoping Kesley wouldn't give her a kick. LOL
Easter day was nice as we had our annual bbq outside in the snowy weather.
With Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Brat Wurst, barbecue beans, Sara's yummy
potatoe salad, Cam's Salsa with pork and Mandy's delicious mandarian
orange cake, we were stuffed.
Then, we had a easter egg hunt. With snow on the ground and our minds
whirling, we had it inside. After watching a little of Alvin and the Chipmunks,
the grandkids had fun as they drew out a color from Jakes hefty hat
and the hunt began. The hints were in rhythm as they went throughtout
the house from the dryer, in the tub, in the fridge, in my bedroom, behind
the tv not to mention the ones that were in MiCayla's coat pocket as they
were ready to head out the door for home. LOL
It is alway nice to be able to share quality time with your family.
Hope you had a nice Easter as much as we did. Memories are forever and
last a lifetime.....Thanks to all for making it so nice. And angel, We Love You
To The Moon And Back!!!!!
