HALLOWEEN HAVOC DERBY

In my last blog I said I will have an update
on how Tom's car is coming for the up
coming event. "Halloween Havoc in Ogden
on October 2nd". Well, he has pulled a
motor out and put one in this car. Stripped
it all out, replaced a starting motor, Fixed
the brakes, pounding with the hammer,
welded all the exterior of his car and has
been busy every day finishing up all the
mechanical problems that needed fixed.
We have all had a hand in helping out
with this car from painting, listening to
it as Tom starts it to adjust the timing,
Hearing,"WATCH MY CAMP TRAILER.
DON't HIT IT."!!! Not to forget Ed
tripping on welders, tools, paint can's,
Wrenches, jacks. Just to name a few. LOL
WOW it is finally ready for the derby.
Cob webs, ghosts and crawling spiders.
Here are some of the pics of his car. All we
have left to do is paint some names on it.
This should be a VERY interesting derby.!!!
Me,well, I will just sit back and relax and
pray that it will be a fun and safe derby EVER.!!!!!
Good Luck Tom !!

Happy Birthday Bam Bam !!!!

I have a little story I want to tell you all,
My mom telling me the best I can recall.
I am having a baby as her eyes twinkled with glee,
I thought to myself Oh boy a new baby hee hee.
Now I wanted a little sister all dressed in lace
But I seen in her eyes and could tell in her face,
That this little sister was really a brother
Why should I ask for anything other?
Throughout the years he loved to tease,
From grasshoppers, spiders, and dandy long leggies.
He would pull off their legs, and throw them on my shirt
He new I would scream when I seen them still jerk.
He new I was scared of crab legs you see,
He would toss them in my bedroom and hold the door closed on me.
Poor mom was having her night at playing cards with the girls,
While alan was playing in his own funny world.
As I would yell now open this d#%mn door,
I told him I will give you to the count of four.
Why didn't I give him the count of three?
Cause this time I was being nice you see!
Bam Bam was his nick name, I don't really know why
Other than he always thought he was tougher than I ?
As the years have gone by, he would send me fake spiders
I still have the collection not to mention the crab lighters.
After all the years gone by, he is now 43,
I want him to know he is the best brother to me.
You think this is crazy just wait and see,
What I have in mind when you turn 50. hehehe
You have gave me laughter and make me smile,
I think I will hold on to you for awhile.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN !!!!!
WE LOVE YOU !!!

Painting ornaments

I have been busy painting ornaments to keep my mind busy. There has been quite a variety painted so far from gingerbread men, snowmen, santa claus, reindeer, angels ect. I have 31 dozen finished and am now trying to find an out let that I can sell them at. My mind wondered a bit from the ornaments that I have been painting. I thought it would be fun to paint some sport ones. Here are a couple of my ornaments that I finished painting. Utah and BYU....

Well, my husband is a big fan of the BYU because of course that is where he went to school. Me??? well, I like the Utah Utes only because red is my favorite color. I guess it will be interesting if I don't sell these little story telling ornaments whose will go towards the front of the Christmas tree this year.!.!.!.! LOL

Memories of The Wienerschnrtzel

There is a story on the fabulous scrumcious hot dog smothered in chili with melted cheese on a bun with dripping sauce down your chin with every bite you take. One of those feasts that you can sneak when you go to Provo but can't hide because of the stains left from the drip on your shirt when you return home.Yummy.
When my little brother was small he used to go to Provo with me to get my daily once every two week chores. "Groceries". I was so glad when he would come with me to keep me company and of course keep me up dated on the happenings in his life. Well, the best part of the adventure was heading home and stopping at that favorite spot. Wienerschnrtzel.!!!!! Since then he has moved and married the most wonderful and talented girl Diane. So, I always take a pic of this
scrumpious hot dog and send him the pic from my cell phone. Well here you have it Alan, bigger than life, delicious, messy, most amazing wiener dog any one will ever sink their chops on. You may be all grown up now Alan BUT,,, you will always be my little brother. LOL
